There’s Nothing Else Like The Wharf Boat & Yacht Show

April 19, 2013, Orange Beach, AL (OBA) – Go ahead and circle April 25-28 on your calendars, because you don’t want to miss the 2013 Wharf Boat Yacht Show! With literally hundreds of trailerable boats on the Marina Lawn and another 110-plus in-water displays at The Wharf Marina, this is where you’ll find your next boat.

And don’t forget to check out BridgeWalk, the center of activity for this year’s show. BridgeWalk is where you’ll find the event’s main stage, and is teaming with live music, fishing seminars, kid’s art clinics, and even a fashion show presented by Lucca Clothing Boutique. It’s also where you’ll find the Yacht Center Pavilion, a high-end experience housed within a climate-controlled tent facility showcasing the industry’s finest in marine propulsion, electronics and fishing equipment.

The Wharf Boat Yacht Show kicks off Thursday, April 25 with “Stars Over Alabama”, a unique, invitation-only red carpet preview that’s open from 2 p.m. until sunset. These highly coveted invitations are available from exhibiting dealers only and will not be offered for sale at the front gate, so contact a participating show exhibitor in advance to score your ticket.

General admission begins on Friday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and continues through Saturday, winding up with “Lagniappe Sunday”, a Cajun-themed day of Zydeco music, beads, gumbo and more from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission to The Wharf Boat Yacht Show is only $5, with children under 12 admitted free. Held at The Wharf Entertainment Complex in beautiful Orange Beach, Alabama, The Wharf features a full-service marina, countless restaurants, numerous shops and bars, a state-of-the-art movie theater and the tallest Ferris wheel in the Southeast, all in a resort destination that’s family-friendly and easily accessible by land, sea or air from just about anywhere in the country. Bama Coast Cruise Car Show!

New to this year’s event is the Bama Coast Cruise car show! Hundreds of cars from vintage hotrods to classic muscle cars and modern speedsters will be on display along Main Street at The Wharf Entertainment Complex on April 25th, 26th, and 27th. The Cruise also features a swap meet, multiple vendors, a parade of classic autos, and a poker run for the participants. Awards will be given for the top 25 cars on display. Admission to the Bama Coast Cruise is free!
