In Miami-Dade, two boat shows for one price: $50 a day

Boating enthusiasts can attend both the Miami Yacht Show and the Miami International Boat Show on one convenient $50 ticket during Presidents’ Day weekend.

The two annual shows are scheduled to run simultaneously from Thursday, Feb. 15, through Monday, Feb. 19, although the joint ticket is not offered opening day. Single day tickets for each event are $25, Friday through Sunday. Opening day tickets Thursday for the international boat show are $40 and $25 for the yacht show.

Bus transportation will connect the yacht show on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach with the boat show at the Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin on Virginia Key.

Marking its 30th year, the Miami Yacht Show, formerly called Yachts Miami Beach, is co-owned by Informa and the International Yacht Brokers Association. It is expected to feature more than 500 vessels in a multi-block display that will stretch for more than a mile along the Indian Creek Waterway from 41st Street to 54th Street.
