WASHINGTON, N.C. – Baja Marine, parent company of the Baja, Donzi, Fountain and Pro-Line boat brands, is pleased to announce it has signed a new dealer partner for Pro-Line Boats. Boat-Max in Pompano Beach, Fla., now offers the full line of high-quality, high-value Pro-Line fishing boats from 20 to 35 feet.

Boat-Max is a full-service facility offering new and used boats from 17 to 32 feet. Owner Christian Tremblay and his staff of two mechanics and a detailer also provide full service for outboard- and inboard-powered boats. The dealer’s territory is Broward County, including the area south of West Palm Beach and north of Miami.

Boat-Max’s prime location on Federal Highway (U.S. 1) in Pompano Beach provides convenient access for customers.

“We are five minutes from the boat ramp on the Intracoastal for sea-trials,” said Tremblay. “Here at our headquarters on Federal Highway, we provide excellent service for all our customers. We took on Pro-Line because it offers the best quality the customer can get, and ultimately we also will offer models from its sister brands, Baja, Donzi and Fountain.” Tremblay plans to have a Donzi 35 ZF Open center console in inventory this summer, and to display six boats at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Low inventory on pre-owned boats has Tremblay believing the time is right for new boat sales to pick up.

“We are going to be very aggressive on our pricing and marketing,” Tremblay said. “The boating industry has been slow since 2008 and there are not many good used boats available. That’s why new boat sales are going to get back on track in the next year.”

“We’re very pleased to welcome Boat-Max as our dealer partner,” said Johnny Walker, CEO of Baja Marine. “Christian Tremblay is very enthusiastic and we believe he will be a great asset to the boating community in South Florida.”
