Two boats have been stolen from waterways in Ludham,

Police are appealing for information after a 20ft cruiser, named Tarka, was taken from the Ludham Bridge Boatyard between September 19 and September 27. The boat was later found at moorings in nearby Potter Heigham. No damage had been caused to the vessel and it is believed offenders may have towed the boat away.

Around the same time, a 21ft boat called La Bonnie Vie was taken from the old pump basin near Ludham Bridge on the River Ant, after its mooring ropes were cut. It was taken sometime between 5.30pm on September 22 and 12.10pm on September 29.

Anyone who witnessed either theft or saw suspicious behaviour is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
